The Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum was created to honor those who were killed, those who survived and those changed forever by the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City. The Memorial and Museum are dedicated to educating visitors about the impact of violence, informing about events surrounding the bombing, and inspiring hope and healing through lessons learned by those affected.

The Memorial Museum takes visitors back to April 19, 1995. Through the voices, images, artifacts and stories of survivors, family members and rescue workers, visitors experience the horror of that day as well as the incredible humanity that showed the nation and world the strength, hope and resilience of this community.

The Oklahoma City National Memorial Museum is open seven days a week. The Museum is closed New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

This is a truly great tribute to those who lost their lives in this national tragedy. Moving and yet hopeful. The field of chairs is powerful. The real heart of this city.
